In February 1992, House of Travel became the Passenger Sales Agent of Indian Airlines, and in January 1994 it was converted to General Sales Agent. At present, Indian Airlines operates seven flights a week with plans to increase to 8 flights per week. It operates to 7 destinations in India with onward connections to various cities in India and South East Asia. There has been a gradual increase in passenger uplift for Indian Airlines since the start of operations in 1994, reaching a level of thirty two thousand passengers per year.
In November 1998, House of Travel was appointed GSA of Air India. Air India presently operates a total 12 flights a week to Bombay Chennai, Kochi, Calicut and Goa with onward connections to internal & international destinations.
Our taking over GSA of Air India has been a success story for us as well as for Air India. When we took over the GSA, the annual uplift was a mere twenty eight thousand passengers with revenue of about 15 million US Dollars We feel proud to pronounce that the current uplift is eighty thousand passengers and a revenue of over 38 million US Dollars even though the fare levels from Kuwait are on the decline.
Air India Express started its operation to Kuwait from July 2008 with seven flights a week to different points in south India.
These achievements of all the represented Airlines are because of our commitment to the Travelling Public, the Indian Community added to the popularity we enjoy from the Travel Fraternity and various Cultural Indian Associations.
